Latency - Demo compared to VST plugin

I am new. I tried the 64 bit demo standalone version of MIDI Guitar 2 with windows 10 and a focusrite 2i2 audio interface and the ASIO driver. I could not hear any sound. When I tried the 32 bit demo it worked and the test piano sounds awesome. Unfortunately, the latency was bad, even with the lowest buffer settings, making it unusable for me. I read online that the VST plugin version has lower latency than the standalone version. I don’t see a demo option for the VST plugin. I’d like to see how it works in Reaper, Mixcraft, or Ableton with direct monitoring.

1 - Is latency better in the VST plugin version?
2 - is there a VST plugin demo I can try to confirm the latency?

Thanks,
Scott

i’m with the same problem with mac and apollo twin 2 !

Hi Jam Origin - please respond - you have some potential customers here!
thanks

the VST/AU version doesn’t have lower latency. You might want to check the ASIO settings (top most button in our interface section), there are buffer settings also there!
Pitch to midi solutions allways have latency though, it is also a personal matter whether you can play with it or not.
