Does the new MIDI MPE Specification offer any new possibilities for MIDI Guitar program?
The biggest difference for guitarplayers is that the MPE specification offers pitchbend per note (normal midi is bend per channel). This is done by giving every new note a new midi channel.
It however often requires a complete overhaul of the coding of a synthesizer. You’ll currently wont find that many synths supporting it.
We’re not certain when or how we might support it, so we cant really predict anything there.
