I really like the HYBRIT for guitar amplifier sym.
I didn’t know it was referenced on the Jamorigin site so I downloaded it and put it in MG2 standalone.
It really has that old choke power supply saturated output transformer sound like an all tube vintage Marshall or HIWATT. It has a lot of oomph and whoop in the bottom spectrum like a Marshall for chugs or chunks etc.
I also like the input gain/curve PLS/MJC switch.
It would be great for replacing a hi gain effect preamp pedal.
Tone controls are amazing. Very non-linear just like a tube amp.
For full phase splitter/output tube saturation I set the “Power Amp” control to 10 as the master volume is just the vst output level.
