MIDI Guitar 2 will not stay open on iPad Pro 2017

This is a new kind of issue to me.
I’d try to restart the iPad or if that doesn’t work, please consider updating to MG3 Beta:

MIDI Guitar 3 beta for iOS is now available!

MG3 betas are now also available for iOS! MG3 was made from the beginning with iOS and touch screens in mind, and I’m excited that iOS and desktop versions can now follow along, with very little development overhead. Almost identical to the Mac version! Runs both as a host for plugins and as a plugin inside hosts. Free for now!
