that’s a very pretty instrument. looks super comfortable to play.
and white is much much nicer than the sea foam option currently shown on the ibanez site.

Mine is sea foam. That was the only color available at the time I bought it. Since I live 200 meters from the Bassin d’Arcachon (a tidal bay off of the Atlantic), it seemed apropos.

I just bought a new 5 string bass but I’m tempted to get this one as well. Beautiful birds eye fretboard and stiff neck construction.

you certainly live in a choice location, certainly in terms of the instrument color, but much more on the ‘what a great place to live’ point scale.

No need to apologize. Sea foam is not my favorite color, either, but since it was my only choice, I looked for a positive, tangential as it was.
Since I only play shorties, and I was looking for a quality instrument under 1 000 €, I didn’t have a lot of choices. Fortunately, the EHB1000S turned out to be worth the money. At 999 € from Thomann, it just squeaked in, 1 € under budget.
