i have a new win11 system which has been sitting idle while i consider my options.
link3 provides tips on how to declutter w11. i won’t go down that road, as i believe microsoft will reinstall the gunk at its earliest opportunity.
link2 is probably what i will do. windows 10 ltsc will be supported until 2032. a brief look around finds that asio / audio on w10ltsc functions as well as the standard options.
link1 provides a ‘cleaner’ install of nvidia drivers.
i may also convert an existing system using the script in link4. i’ll make a full backup image beforehand just in case. if the script works it will be nice not having to reinstall all of the stuff.
of the available options, w10ltsc may end up being our least bad choice.
