Here I am employing three techniques to close in on a more pianistic sound for my MIDI Guitar setup. First: Hybrid picking allows me to strum, sweep, or arpeggiate chord structures. Second I use the transposer (on velocity) alternative in MIDI Guitar 2, to be able to emulate classic octave displacement techniques while still remaining in the same position. The idea here is: notes picked harder than (x), will appear in another octave in accordance with the transposer setting. (Here = 2 octaves up). To smooth out movements between harmonic centers, I use the sustain pedal to define or give a sense of cohesion to them.
