A question on the how to video, working with Cubase (I imagine relevant to other DAWs)

it says to ‘check polyphonic bends if using MPE synth’

i don’t understand this..

i am using this software with my electric guitar… i would guess that what they mean is to load a VST synth in my DAW which allows pitch changes to test it out ? (i think in the dozens and dozens of instruments i have loaded in my DAW, pitch changes work when i;m triggering it on my keyboard and sliding the pitch change slider on my keyboard…. , they all pitch up or down.

thanks

mg3 will send pitchbend data to any vst synth.

some will want this in MPE format, others prefer MIDI 1.0.

if one option does not work try the other.

another important issue: pitchbend ranges must match. many vst synths have per-patch pitchbend settings, you will get unexpected results unless you set mg3’s output to match.
