A pitch-dependent filter for audio that, like the midi pitch filter, only allows or blocks the audio signal for certain pitch ranges. For example, the (bass) guitar signal could be audible from e1 to e2, but blocked as an inaudible audio signal from e3 to e4.
This would be a fundamentally new feature of MG3, and not “just more of everything”
However, the audio input signal should still be usable for midi control of the synthesiser, i.e. only the pure synthesiser sound can be heard from e3 to e4 (without the (bass) guitar signal).
This could be particularly useful for bass players who also play a (synth) rhythm part in a small band alongside the bass.
