What are MIDI Machines?
Inside the full desktop version of MIDI Guitar, scripts can be used, called “MIDI Machines”.
It is a simple but powerfull system using the LUA script language.
All midi that is fed to the built-in instrument slot and external midi output goes via these scripts.

How to share MIDI Machines?
The script location can be found on your computer from within our app:
-click preferences
-then click “MIDI GUITAR DATA FOLDER”
The midi guitar data folder will be opened in finder/file explorer
The subfolder “MIDIMachines” contains the scripts.
For installing a midi machine, copy the downloaded .lua file into that folder and restart MIDI Guitar.

Hello , I believe that you are familiar with the Patchstorage site , where you can upload patches and scripts for different platforms. I thought it could be convenient as a site to have all the Midimachines in one single place ( unless it already exists and I am not aware). In any case to request the opening of a new platform you must be able to uplad at least 5 patches. Well , if you think its a valid idea you might want to give it a try by requesting a platform for Midiguitar2 at Platform Requests Archive | Patchstorage
