Acoustic Guitar plugin

Hi dear Midi guitar users.
i am a new user of MG and have to say that i am thrilled with the possibilities that opened for me.

First I want to say that I am not used to use midi so i apologise if my question is stupid.

So i downloaded the free version of Guitar rig the free version from Native instruments and it went automatically to the guitar session in MG 2 (in the blue session)

It’s very good since it gives many options for playing guitar with what ever instrument we choose from the red session.

I liked it a lot and then i thought i will buy an acoustic guitar program to have some acoustic guitars sounds.

I downloaded the session guitarist-strummed acoustic 2 but I can only access it from the midi department, the red session and it doesn’t appear in the guitar department, and its more for keyboard players than guitar player.

My question is how do i know what sounds is going to guitar session?
Are there any other sounds like Guitar rig?

Thank you in advance for your time

Blue path (section) is for audio processing plugins.
Red path (section) is for MIDI plugins that generate audio.

Thank you very much for your answer.

But I don’t understand when you want to buy a software how you know if its a audio processing plugin or a midi ?

Because in the Native instruments page its only listed as guitar software sounds.

Session Guitarist Strummed Acoustic is a sampled instrument that opens in Kontakt and a couple of other NI software packages – Maschine and Komplete Kontrol.

Kontakt is a sampler. Samples are triggered via MIDI. Kontakt does not process external audio sources, it generates audio.

Thank you very much  very kind of you to take the time to answer

if you want to try a midi option as opposed to a sampled one, dsk has a free vst. should be much lighter on the cpu as well.

this is not an audiophile option but if you run it through the right amp you might be happy with the results.
