It will certainly be exciting to see whether there will also be an MGBHEX for bass.
after using the piccolo bass option i don’t think i can ever go back to using standard tuning on bass. the response is so superior i think most bass players would agree with me.
this is a fretless / quad pickup / piccolo strung bass with onboard dante conversion.
the latter is my approach to solving the multi-pickup cabling issue, a 15’ cable is $3.
total cost was $800. unlike dutti’s design i also need to use a second audio interface for output.
as i improve it i hope to make it much prettier. but it works fine as is with mg3hex.
