I am trying to get my recently purchased Papritech airMotion pro breath controller to work with MG2 or 3 and am not having any luck in standalone or as plugin in my DAW. Any detailed explanations available or anyone else here have one ?. It seems to work with my keyboard in Kontakt standalone and in Digital Performer11 but not with midi guitar2 or 3 . I have watched a few LoFiLeif videos but didn’t see anything for actually connecting the the airMotion to MG . I am on a desktop Mac Studio.
Ok I finally got the dongle to work . Bluetooth does not seem to show up ever.
Yeah, I use a dedicated Bluetooth app for this. It will not show up in my Mac’s Bluetooth devices list (as so many of my devices). This is what I use, but you can use pretty much anything.
Thanks I will see if I can find that app. Will this also help with the updating the air motion device . I was able to update the dongle on my mac but the airMotion breath controller failed because it could not find a bluetooth port .
Oh, I had hoped that it was a problem only I ran into. Fact is, when I helped the Papritech guys evaluate the (old version) of the AirMotion Pro, that was one of the first things I mentioned to them.
Just like you I could only update the Dongle, but not the Breathcontroller on my Mac, and when I asked about it (March 2025), I got the answer:
“On the MAC the ch340 driver can be missing and needs installing, this tutorial shows it in details, the mac details by the end of the page. “

But I never got install that, since I had a PC that worked right away. You might want to try any of those options, but also, don’t forget to report back to the Papritech guys that this was an issue also for you. They really should fix this for when they ship products, I think.
