I think this would be awesome to do. Especially for those who are young and not used to hopping on forums everyday.
Would be nice to actually talk to someone one on one about MG3. Especially since lofileaf is moving to patreon, it will be harder to feel motivated to improve on this setup
If anyone wants like my contact and want to do one on one discussion and testings let me know👍
I am indeed moving part of my work to Patreon. But the reason for that is partly that I don’t want to have opinions of mine be conflated with something like the “official JamOrigin view”, which I feel have been happening lately. The other reason is YouTube itself. But the JamOrigin content will still be there of course. It isn’t moving anywhere.
And you are still free to ask about anything in here, of course.
I saw your announcement and agree with your reasoning. I’m retired on fixed-income, so best I can afford right now is the $1 Tier on your Patreon starting next month. Will you light up a Discord server, or perhaps we can just get JamOrigin to activate the Discourse chat feature here?
Yeah because we could even do midi guitar 3 meetings in discord:)
And have an idea of how other users use the software. I think it would also enhance the beta testing by a mile
Yoo that sounds like a great idea!! A friend of mine was also talking about Sonobus
I think its streaming audio in very low latency.
Similar to an app valled parsec to stream videl with low latency. You can even play video games with it:)
Yes, the idea is to include the Discord option to the Patreon page, but not to talk about any JamOrigin stuff directly. I don’t want to water down the information flow coming from here in any way, shape or form.
The place to go for anything MIDI Guitar 2/3 is here.
The question of a JO Discord is of course a question for @JamO.
