Are Guitar Mods intended to work with the Sustainer in Freeze Chord mode?

A specific question here. I tried to set up the Synth Mod to respond to a Sustainer Module in Freeze Chord mode, and it just doesn’t seem to want to do that. I tried both the “Mod FX” Sustainer and the regular Sustainer, placed both before and after the Synth Mod module, and never seemed to get the hold function to work.

Hopefully I’m just missing something obvious, as I’d kinda like to use the Synth Mod as the audio source for a “freeze pedal” patch, but at this point I should probably ask: should I expect the Guitar Mods to respond to “freeze chord” at all?

I think the Sustainer module in the latest versions (iOS/macOS) doesn’t work on audio anymore.

Sorry for the confusion about this!

Indeed I disabled the audio side of the Sustain pedal in the latest iOS version, simply because it was too CPU hungry, to the point I got unsure that it was causing problems for people on slower systems (PC and Mac). I’m thinking how to improve its performance.

The Sustain pedal is technically parts of the whole Guitar Mods thing, so its something that needs to be expanded and improved in the future, and I have to put the audio side of the Sustain module into that efforts which are probably scheduled for a bit later.

Thanks for the clarity fellas. No worries, duly noted.
