Im hoping someone can help. Im running mid guitar 3 on Mac with polyphic expressive and bend range two semitones. Im getting a flashing message saying audio interface cant keep up or computer cpu causing bad tracking.
Im using a volt 176 audio interface which was around £150 new and a 2017mac with intel core i5 and buffer set to 128. Is there anything I need to upgrade. Im hoping it will be either the Mac or the audio interface and not both. The tracking is nearly perfect and it will go to 64 on some sounds. I dont mind just monophonic as Im only using lead synth sounds. Thanks so much 
Sounds like you’re doing alright if you can get down to 64. That flashing message is something added last upgrade and can be anoying but if you’re getting good tracking, I’d stick with it until the beta testing is complete. On the other hand, if you can afford new equipment…
I’ve learned to ignore the flashing message for now but contemplating some new gear in the future.
I had that too. Take a look at the settings (gear wheel) and set your audio interface as input and output.
