Audio to MIDI (Windows)

Thanks. I will post it when I‘m back at home tomorrow and have better access to my standard setup.

Just set the pitch bend range to 2 in MG3 and everything is fine!

The other option is to set the range in Cubase to 48 (default is +/- 2). However you do it make sure that you have always the same ranges in your applications, VST’s and MG3.

Thanks so much. With the setting of Dutti67 everything worked fine (see screenshot with bending data). I used Insight2 on the first insert to control the incoming signal on the insert for MIDIGuitar3 which was fine and set the pitch bend range in both programs MG3 and Cubase 14 to +/- 2. Now I could use a gate of 50 and produce first results which look promising. Not yet perfect but excellent for a start and more dynamic than the Melodyne midi. Only critical remark left is that I still receive the message that my audio interface or CPU can’t keep up which is really strange as the CPU meter is all fine.

And the best thing is that I can easily control the output of different settings directly using the instrument to listen in advance how a MIDI recording will sound. Amazing.
