Beta warning: unsupported buffer size on Waveform

I have a problem with the MIDI Guitar 3 beta.
Midi Guitar 2 runs fine on Waveform but the 3 beta gives me a warning

What can I do to make the Beta work?

BTW I tried changing buffer sizes etc.

Please provide some more information.
What system (mac/win) do you have. Interface, standalone or plugin of MG3?

Windows pro 11 (Intel(R) Core™ i7-8665U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11 GHz), interface is a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 and use MG as plugin in WaveForm.
The MG2 works without problems as plugin in Waveform.

I own MG2 and am very happy with it but I am just curious what MG3 has to offer more. Also as Beta tester I can maybe provide some input.

I just downloaded Waveform and MG3 works fine here. Make sure you have ASIO selected as device type in the audio setup.
If you like MG2 you will love MG3!!

YESSS!!!
That worked!
I was always a bit afraid to set it to ASIO…
Thanks a lot!

Hmm, but now all my output goes via the Behringer and not via Windows audio?
That worked with MG2…
Sorry, I am a bit new to this a a classically trained
musician

My MG2 setup:

ASIO let’s me not choose the output.
So I have to use the Behringer output for all I am doing?
Sorry for asking all these questions but it seems MG3 is less fleixble on the Audio Device Type?

Yes, you need to hook up some speakers to the Behringer. If you set the audio device type to “Windows Audio” all is mixed up > your Behringer has a sample rate of 44.1 kHz, Win audio wants 48kHz > the buffer sizes do not match and you have a higher latency.

Thanks a lot. I will try a new setup.

Can you expalin why my former setup works with MG2 and not with MG3?

MG2 obviously can handle the buffer size that results from the windows audio setup.
