Since it might be a bug…
I use MG3 in Gig Performer, using a Morningstar MC6 Pro as a MIDI controller to switch between rackspaces, which works fine. In each rackspace I have an instance of MG3 loaded with the same patch, followed by a Kontakt instrument.
The issue I have is that, when switching rackspaces, MG3 doesn’t load that patch. It randomly loads one of the factory patches. In Gig Performer, in each rackspace, I tried saving that patch in each instance of MG3, thinking that it may help MG3 to recall it, but no go. It keeps loading something else, which means that I have to manually reload it, which defeats the whole purpose of that setup.
If I can’t get it to work, guess I’ll have to go back to MG2—or find another way to use what I have, to do what I’d like to achieve.
