Can anyone help me?
Here’s the latest Windows 11 update, tested with MidiGuitar3, Bass 3, and MidiGuitarHex. Where can I find MIDIFX? I can’t find NoteFilter and sequencer functions either.

Yes, in the latest update there is a category of experimental modules that are hidden by default. You can enable them in settings => plugins => show experimental modules.
Hi @JamO, thanks for your quick response. I have successfully activated all experimental features.
However, Midi FX is missing. What is that supposed to be? Is it currently just a placeholder with no function?
MIDI Fx’s are third party plugins and not included in MG3.
Hi @Dutti67 Thanks for your explanation, that’s really good, I hadn’t noticed that at all
I’ll give that a try.
Not that it bothers me but all my 3rd party Midi-Fx plugins end up in either the Instrument or the Effect folder. The MIDI- Fx folder remains empty.
Hi @ElectroFuzz, it’s the same for me. The MIDI FX folder is empty, and the Midi Fx Vst are in my Instruments folder.
I will take a look at this. You guys are both on windows?
Same on Mac, too. MidiFX is empty.
Hi @JamO, everything is running for me on Windows 11.
Yes windows 11 ….. post must be 21 character long so here are some fillers… music is life!
MIDI FX are showing on macOS here in latest MG3
Mine was a clean install, you probably installed over a previous version.
That’s entirely possible. I have occasionally noticed differences between doing clean installs and version updates.
