Cannot eliminate dry signal

I’ve been using Midi Guitar 2 for a few years. I run my guitar through an OMEC Teleport pedal to my iPad. It seems to start with pure MIDI signal (I can’t hear the dry signal but I can see the velocity meters jump as I play) but within 5 seconds I get the dry signal again. It’s mixed in with the MIDI signal. I’ve also adjusted the Mix knob and nothing changes. I can recreate this if I unplug the connector cable from the pedal to the iPad. Then same thing: no signal, few seconds later mostly dry signal.

Does this sound like an issue with MG2 or the OMEC Pedal?

This is due to the interface which does “monitoring” or “direct” to mix in the dry input. Isn’t here a switch on the Teleport?
