Can't find Midi Panic button in MG2

For some reason while using the BBC Symphony instruments the notes started to sustain and I couldn’t find any reference to the midi panic whereabouts in the help section or on the interface.
Any suggestions for a quick fix when this happens. I had been using my acoustic guitar with no problems but when I switched to my electric guitar having tuned it using MG2 tuner the notes started to sustain into a mess of noise. I’m new to MG2 so I dont know if this happens a lot or not. Using Logic also
Any help appreciated

When a plugin “hangs” you need to push the panic button of that particular plugin. It’s not MG2 sending uncontrolled MIDI messages.

Thank you once again for clarifying that issue for me. I have scaler and mediculous and both have a panic button which led me to believe that MG2 would also have one. I’ll check now with the BBC Symphony plugin to see how it deals with hung notes.

Sending CC120 or CC123 will cut all hung notes. If I have a volume or expression pedal I usually program the Heal down position to send these CC’s.
Of course you will need some midi program to do these at the moment.
I use Soundigy Midi Lab, my hope is that MG3 will eventually have some built in midi tools to do things like this.

Thanks a lot for your helpful advice. I wonder if I can use my NI complete keyboard to program those CC messages to deal with hung notes. I’ll check out the other options you mentioned as well. Thanks again

Thanks @ElectroFuzz
This actually helped me with a longstanding issue I have had with the VHorns. Especially the “2” instruments (Alto Sax 2 and others) have had an issue with notes hanging/freezing and harmonizing whatever I play after that. It has felt like perhaps a missing note-off of something. I have of course been able to reset with pressing play or stop in Falcon, but with your suggestion I can actually add a constant Panic reset on the Falcon module, and the problem never occurs. I am not sure if this has any detrimental effect on any other input, and it might not be the best solution for all similar issues. But it worked here, and I am most happy since this is an issue I have asked AcousticSamples to take a look at for a couple of years now.
