“MIDI Guitar 2.vst” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
I assume this is on a Mac - then make sure you get the Catalina (10.15) version on jamorigin.com/download and make sure you overwrite that VST file.

Replaced both component and vst file. Still same problem.
Maybe you have the old VST somewhere, like in the user VST folder (~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/), and the new VST in the system VST folder (/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/) - and the DAW then finds the old one.
Also, try to reboot and rescan in your DAW.
DId all that. Same result. Message says chrome downloaded the file on January 29, 2020 from guitarkick.com??? Whats up with that?
You somehow have the old version of that file somewhere and your DAW is finding that old version. So you need to find that VST and delete it and make sure you replace it with the Catalina version.
