Can't turn on a second USB expression pedal after upgrading to MG3.0.68

I have been using two Leonardo Arduino USB MIDI Pedals on different CC numbers, no problem .

Now in MG3.0.68 it won’t let me enable the second pedal, instead it runs the first pedal on three identical CC2,

Perhaps you could give us some more info, like which CCs the pedals are actually transmitting.

But, please be aware that you can change the CC numbers in MG3 to something other than CC#002.

You need to enable it in the settings.

Click on your “Arduino Leonardo” interface → then enable it

Thank you Dutti67,

I have enabled the Arduino, that is set for CC2, no problem.

Then the system won’t recognize my second Arduino, programmed for CC4 and won’t let me enable it . All it does is adding another knob for CC2.

As you can see, the second Arduino is not highlighted

Thank you Vaultnaemsae

I believe there used to be an “Any Controller/MIDI Input” option. Currently, it seems only one controller can be active via the patchbay connection. If you need more than one pedal, you should use a MIDI hub that connects multiple switches or pedals to MG3 as a single controller unit.

That is correct, but it is no longer an option. You just choose the devices you want now.

This is also correct. I can confirm that trying to activate MIDI devices that have identical names will not function correctly. It is generally a good idea to have unique names for MIDI devices.

At this stage, your option are to either 1. rename one of the controllers (if possible), or 2. aggregate the MIDI signals and send as a single controller.

The developers of Divisimate 2 have a software product that can do that though I can’t remember its name off the top of my head.
