I tried it this way and it worked until the pop-up screen appeared that i’am using the trial version,which is not true.
I’d presume that this is why some of us are also getting the trial version popup too, due to the license being within said group containers folder?
I tried again and everything goes well until you save the project and start again.
If you’re using MG3 Hex, and you need an immediate workaround, you can use my Hex Inception plugin to circumvent the issue. The 14-day free trial will get you through until the next release of MG3 with the fix. There’s an adjacent thread about it.
Should be fixed now in the new version 3.0.74
