It’s worth reading this thread in its entirety to find out what’s now possible in terms of single-string recognition from a guitar’s mono signal.

That’s also the basis for my confidence that there will be a new MidiGuitar 3 standard with single-string recognition in the foreseeable future.

Not only because it now seems technically feasible, but also because the Hex functions make it infinitely more powerful for all guitar players, as your latest work demonstrates.

Incidentally, the whole process naturally requires a very deep understanding of the theory of signal processing and neural networks, combined with practical experience in programming innovative algorithms and physical modeling.
That is why I am trying to make my modest contribution to this field, which @JamO has repeatedly appreciated.
