It’s worth reading this thread in its entirety to find out what’s now possible in terms of single-string recognition from a guitar’s mono signal.
That’s also the basis for my confidence that there will be a new MidiGuitar 3 standard with single-string recognition in the foreseeable future.
Not only because it now seems technically feasible, but also because the Hex functions make it infinitely more powerful for all guitar players, as your latest work demonstrates.
