Does anyone know of a free sample player vst that works in midi guitar 2?

I see one on the net called “Decent Sampler 1.12.13”. Has anyone tried this?

Do you want to play black audio samples through MG2? For this you need a (free) host where you can insert MG2 on an audio track, place your sample and play it through MG2.

i’ve tried poise, briefly. i think someone else here suggested sforzando.

If it’s a VST, it should load in MG2. Decent Sampler is very popular and I’d chance to guess it will work fine. And…It’s free. So, why not just try it?

FWIW, I’ve only used it on iOS but it did the job fine.

I’ve used Cyclone in Sonar Producer for mapped midi percussion sounds like choked cymbals so I don’t see why the sampler can’t use a midi note to trigger the assigned waveform in the sampler.

Sure that would work. So far it wasn’t clear to me what you want to do.
