Is there any way to trigger drum notes using a drum machine plugin? I assume that because the software works on pitch detection that it might work but obviously if you mute the guitar note it won’t.
This should work if I’m understanding what you are asking. In REAPER, using Modern & Massive in Kontakt for example, you can midi learn a specific note either by triggering it with your midi device or inputting it manually then triggering with your controller.
It works with all drum plugins I have tried (Toontrack SD3 / EZdrummer 3 / Groove Agent 5 / all Kontakt Komplete Drum Kits).
