Hi,
I’m new to this so sorry of this topic has been discussed already.
I’m using the GM3 Hex tracking which is superior relative to my GP10, but I need to work around with a loop midi app in order to route the signal to Studio One DAW.
Isn’t there supposed to be a way not to use third parties in the chain? Casting from standalone app to GM3 plugin?
Cheers.

We have experimented with opending the hex hardware directly inside the MG3 plugins, and output MIDI to the DAW, which makes this wonderfully simple.
But it only works only on Macs for now (using an unofficial plugin MG3 plugin).
We currently trying to do a dedicated hex plugin for Windows as well, but its not ready yet.
Hex guitarists often run into limitations of enjoying the full power of hex pickups into their favorite DAW.
This is a shameless release to make life wonderfully simple by letting the MG plugin open the hex hardware, rather than the DAW.
More information here:
Only use this if:
You use hex hardware
You use a DAW that use AUv3 plugins (especially Logic/Mainstage users)
You are ok with its plugin sandboxing limitations
You are ok which using a completely untested plugin

you should be able to use midicaster (in the tools subsection) in the standalone version and then select the network tracker in the plugin.

Yes, good call on that one. The MIDI Caster network tracker is a viable option depending on your goal. Just tested it after a long time not using it.
is this a solution for your situation? if not please provide more detail.
Hi All,
Many thanks for the useful advice.
I’ll certainly try the casting option between the standalone and the plugin.
It’s good to know from Jam O that a simplified alternative is working already for Mac users.
I’ve got a PC. When do you expect the new version to be released?
