Thank you @vaultnaemsae for this really informative video, especially for addressing and demonstrating the new possibilities of the bass tracker.

Thank you also for pointing out the pitch shifting possibilities in the Audio Guitar area, as I consider all audio manipulation possibilities of the original sound of the guitar just as important as the expansion of the midi features.

I can’t wait to see what other interesting videos you will bring us.

Luke,

Excellent video — nicely explained.

Wow, @JamO the audio pitch shifting would really be the icing on the cake of altered tuning.

I have another video in the works about using multiple instances of Helix Native’s Poly Pitch Shifter with MG3 Hex but I thought this information on the String Tuning module is a little more important.

Spoiler alert on the next vid, Helix Native has a killer pitch shifter and you can do some stuff not possible with the SY-1000, or similar units. Perhaps a little esoteric though.

Yeah, I use it to do bass or baritone/guitar splits using Helix Native and the poly pitch shifter–just feed E and A into one instance of Helix and d, g, b, and e, into another.

Re-guitar pickup simulator is a nice addition for manipulating separate GK string signals before it hits the Helix. You can alter the raw GK sound and make it more like a standard guitar pickup.
