Hi,
I got MG3 downloaded to my iPad.
It shows up as a plugin in my Loopy Pro.
I set up, after watching some instructional videos…
Audio is coming in, but no MIDI is coming out. I have the first chain and the master set to MIDI output functionality. In Loopy Pro, I have the output, the MIDI output routed to 2 things: MIDI Monitor - to visually see the MIDI notes and assure it’s working…and also routed to a synth.
I found that the plugin version of iOS MG3 doesn’t work in the host applications I have available on my iPad (Logic Pro, Cubasis, Garageband). However the MIDI output of the standalone app is recognized in the hosts.
I just tested the current iOS beta AUv3 of MG3 (checking the MIDI Out selection) in AUM, Audiobus 3 and Cubasis 3 and the ports are 100% selectable in all three. I don’t use Loopy Pro so cannot verify. I suppose it could be an issue unique to Loopy Pro but it seems unlikely.
