How to save MIDI generated by MG?

I would like to be able to save the MIDI generated by MG. I know I can do this by using the MB plugin within my DAW. But is there a simpler way? Can create a MIDI file directly from within MG?

Are you looking for a simple MIDI recorder plugin? I think this might have been discussed in an earlier thread before the Windows beta was available. I will look to see if I can find it.

You don’t say if you’re on Windows or Mac but if Mac I can recommend MIDI Tape Recorder by Uwyn. It was also designed to accurately record MPE data and is also available on iOS.

Thanks for your replies. I’m running MG on Windows 11. I was hoping there was a plugin I could use with MG.

I see that MG3 supports the loopMIDI app that runs on Windows. I just need to find a MIDI recorder app that can connect to the MIDI channel MIDI MACHINES/MIDI OUTPUT/loopMIDI plugin MB3 provides.

For now I’ll connect to the online MIDI Recorder .

I ended up saving MIDI generated by MG3 directly into Guitar Pro 8.
