I seem to having trouble with my interface settings in MG2 since I downloaded the MG3 version

on windows mg2 and mg3 are completely independent. changes made to one will not affect the other.

if you made changes to your asio configuration that could affect both mg2 and mg3.

Hi Kimyo:

I did not change any asio driver settings until MG3 would not function properly because the MG3 GUI was not functioning properly.

I was told to check the driver so I ran the Presonus Driver “Control Panel” software.

The Presonus Universal “Control Panel” worked perfectly for MG2 as usual.

The correct settings I normally use in the Presonus “Universal Control” are:

44.1 , no loopback, 24 bit, block size=256

To let you know MG3 installation worked perfectly.

MG3 opened with a black screen then I can click on the upper left Caption Bar Icon and then the controls appear but none can be changed by a mouse.

This is why I say the GUI is not working properly.

There really can’t be any connection between MG2 and MG3, but to completely reset MG2s audio setup, please try to delete the file:

C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\JamOrigin\MIDI Guitar.settings

the mg3 behavior you describe could be the result of windows display scaling.

i get occasional odd behavior like a black screen or clicks not being registered when using display scaling.

display scaling may be in use if you have a large monitor. if so, reset it to ‘1’ and see if there is any change.
