If it weren’t for lack of Kontakt I’d otherwise call this a poor person’s Komplete. I bought Komplete 15 regular lately, and while it’s slated to be the main use of the MIDI outs of MG2/3, fact is one of three computers doesn’t work properly and I’ve still got to troubleshoot.
Still, Sampletank has an editor you can make basic sample patches.
Without further ado, I’m hawking someone else’s product here:
There’s so many goodies in there but for me the icing on the cake is a Hammond (by name) organ VSTi, but a rainy afternoon rendering MIDIs through Sampletron (many Mellotron’s) sounds fun.
I also learned for some reason, installing Philharmonik 2 from this suite was painless compared to having a Philharmonik 2 I’d bought lately at $29 I think. Call it Angel’s share.
I’m not a shill and this 357 GB download may take a while. I’m at a motel and using two computers to download still took a long stretch.
I haven’t used it enough to vouch for it but I’ve made 5 copies of the whole works and now it’s time to cherry pick what instruments sound ideal for a guitar-based (methodology?).
The sale goes a while too so … I love win-win situations, and this is one of them. For some.
