Hi, it might be an intended feature but in case it isn’t I prefer to report it : when used a an auv3 on iOs (in Loopy Pro), you will get :
- a message saying the DAW is not sending anything if the audio input is Off. This is intended I think, and actually useful but it prevents you from seeing your configuration until you actually open the signal, and sometimes you might prefer to work on the plugin adjusting gains or adding elements without actually playing until you are ready. It might have been better maybe to display the normal UI with the warning showing inside of it.
- a blank screen if you switch presets in your DAW, until a note is played. Then the UI will display normally
- a black rectangle when you insert a new filter in your chain, where its controls should be, again until a not is played. Then the controls will appear correctly.
Overall this “no UI shown if no signal” policy is a bit confusing in my opinion. I can work around it but I scratch my head regularly thinking that there is a problem with my device until I remember to play a note and the UI displays as it should.
