iOS/iPadOS MG3 TestFlight build has been removed (and is back)

Yes, Guitar Mods will be a separate AUv3/App on TestFlight. It can be used with other apps just like MG3, but its highly experimental still.

And then there is some sneaky integration going on: MG3 (from this version and onwards) should (fingers crossed) notice the Guitar Mods AUv3 and can actually render Mods modules natively and they work just like the MG3 modules.

This allows me to make all sorts of experiments and not bother the majority of MG users

I was regularly using the prior Test Flight version of the IOS app, and when it disappeared, I downgraded to MG2 on IOS. I was recenty offer MG3 again via Test Flight. If I choose this, what will carry over from MG2 and can I possibly choose between the 2? and when can we expect a fully released version?

I had to upgrade my old trusty iPad with Midi Guitar 2 to iPad 13 pro m5 to be able to take part in beta testing MG3. Just installed the Test Flight, can you send me the code to redeem the latest beta? Godin xtSA, GR55, SY1000, Tec BBC2, WIDI Uhost

Hi Jeremy! Sorry for the delay! Yes, I´m really enjoying MG3! Answering your question about my Godin xtSA, as you know it has a 13 pin interface not DIN, actually I managed to connect it through my old trusty axon 50 and then to WIDI master to connect it wirelessly to my IPad Pro M5 to use with MG3. Frankly, I found the new version a bit complicated but by trial and error managed to set it up to work with my SWAM sax, trumpet and flute using BBC2 Tecontrol. Works like a charm, thank you for developing such a brilliant application! As for Godin´s 13 pin output to get it running with 6 independent audio channels I plan to switch to Windows 10 and use my Boss GM1000 with Cubase to open 6 instances of MG3, one for each channel. It´s a pity I can´t send all the 6 audio channels in one go to MG3 or am I missing something here? It would be great to have this fantastic feature for GK enabled guitars to use the 6 channel polymode, but as I understand will require a lot of work. Thank you again for your miraculous application! Kind regards, Andy

There is a Hex version of MG3 that requires a separate license. You can choose it under the gear icon and then click shop to purchase and authorize.
