the gp10 does work with mg3hex. one of the cubase heads will pop in soon i’m sure with some guidance.
you said it is urgent, one option which will deliver immediate gratification is to run mg3hex in standalone mode. this way you don’t have to deal with routing things in cubase.
install the beta if you haven’t already, run mg3, select the gp10 as your interface, and select the hex option under the tracker menu.
sometimes the strings are reversed, i don’t recall if the gp10 is one of those. if you don’t see input on a particular string the wrong channel is probably selected. but strings also don’t show up if they are tuned below the expected note.
was urgent to know if i need to return it to the store cause gpt said its midi and jam origin needs audio - he is crazy i guess thanks
someone knows why i cant find “audio interface” in midi guitar 3 settings? its just not there version 3.0.61
It’s possible and it works really well once set up.

Have fun (it’s amazing)

There is always the option of running the MG3 Hex app with GP-10/Gk-3 Hex (set the GP-10 as audio input to MG3 Hex) and then simply use Cubase with the MG3 Midi output as input to a Cubase midi/instrument channel.

hey thanks , i was able to get it kinda work i created 6 chanel inputs and rout it into 6 channel track , i can see the notes working on hex guitar tracker , but results are really bad , alot of clickings and notes that tracked are a mess , im using gp10 so i think it shouldnt be like this , 128 samples why is that
Is the Gp-10 set to “Re-Guitar/Amp II” mode?
Are the strings ordered correctly in the hex tracker?
Have you checked that your MG3/GP-10 set up correctly by running the app alone outside of Cubase — maybe best 1st step?
Bare in mind that all you are using from the GP-10 are the 6 raw signals coming from the GK3 pick-up. The audio to midi conversion is made with MG3Hex and you need to set it up to minimize glitches and ghost notes (e.g. gain / gate / dynamics). However, a clean playing style is at least as important. Take your time and work on it.
thank you very much with this advices and some other tweeks i made it to get a very very nice results !! im super happy about it ,
i guess you are related to the developers so from my usage i encounter two-three things that needs improvements or at least just me having problem with it
1)when the jam origin plugin is open i guess its too heavy so it makes crazy cracks sounds i dont know if it can be imroved or just my pc
3)when doing dive bomb with my floyed rose , it dive but then at some point go an octave higher and dive from there , am i doing something wrong ? in my kontakt hydra 3.5 plugin i placed the bend range to maximum and on jam origin to 8 i think more then 8 stops effecting the range im not sure
any way im happy and its amazing
To 1. : Always mute the output during start up as long MG3 is still in Beta.
To 2. : Did you save your setup as a new patch prior closing Cubase? The settings should be kept when the patch is saved.
To 3. : The pitch bend range should always match in MG3 and the used VST. It further depends on the used VST properties how much bend in total will be reached. Next update will have a “Whammy” module for both audio and midi which is easy to setup and use.
I have no relation to the developers but you’ll find the developer is extremely responsive on this forum.
I am a mac user and have not seen any of the problems you mention re: settings — I assume you are saving them?
Re pitch bend it is critical to match the pitch bend in vst/kontakt.
Have you found the videos by lofileif (https://www.youtube.com/@lofileif/videos), who is on this forum. He has made loads of very useful and informative videos about setting up and using MG3.
This might help you out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsMyH0fDb7E (But check his channel for other stuff).
