Is there a way to make MG3 use the imperfections of your guitar's tuning?

I couldn’t find a clear answer on this, apologies if already asked. I am not talking about alternate tunings, but rather the imperfections of one’s guitar tuning.

For example, is there a setting that allows the little imperfections in the guitar’s tuning get passed on to the midi signal?
For instance you can bend, but it seems unless I am mistaken that the initial note trigger is “snapped to grid” so to speak and is exactly in tune.

Thank you

in mg3 there is a chromatic midi machine which will ‘snap’ notes, but the default is to provide exactly what you describe, the pitch sent to your synth will be the same as your guitar produces, including minor deviations.

edit to add: if your pitchbend ranges don’t match the result might be what you’re experiencing.

Thank you for your answer

I wonder if possibly certain vsts react to the imprecise notes, and others do not? For instance I don’t think my tuning imperfections are being communicated to arturia piano

i can’t find it but there was a midi monitor which lofileif recommended. it might have been this one:

i’d put a midi monitor between mg3 and the piano, look for pitchbend info.

if you bend notes and see corresponding pitchbend commands then the issue is probably the synth. if not, it’s probably mg3. please post a screenshot.

i believe the way it works is the ‘snapped’ note is transmitted followed by a pitchbend command which gives you the ‘imperfect’ note.

Typically piano and organ VSTs. do not respond to bends and slight detuning unless there is an option to enable pitch bend.
