I’m having an issue getting loopmidi to be recognized. Apparently microsoft has a new midi protocol and there are issues with some midi programs. Anyone familiar?
I’m not super familiar with it yet, but as I understand, the new MIDI protocol would basically take the place of LoopMIDI. Have you had a poke around in the new MIDI settings?

i posted that link cause the author is both a microsoft engineer and a musician, he’s seemed in the know before, although a tad over-religious.
but if he can’t help i’m not sure anyone else can.
imagine being a touring musician and having a win11 update wipe out your setup, with no recourse, no support.
clearly they did not test this update. i would say it is also clear that they simply do not care about issues specific to music making.
windows 7 was superior in every way for music making. i’d love to run it today, on nice fast hardware with gobs of ram. doubtless it would run circles around win11.
apologies for the rant but this is only going to get worse.
I seem to have solved it for the time being with the work around. Let’s hope the real version doesn’t blow things up.
