MG2 Standalone, Not sure why Kontakt 6 now has a list of 127 outputs. I don’t remember seeing this before.
Do I need to select a particular channel and program?
“PROGRAM”> MIDI CHANNEL 0 PROGRAM 0
That’s “normal” and can be disregarded, the program selection has no function as far as I’m aware.
Click on “show” and select the program inside Kontakt.
It’s also not the number of MIDI output channels, I think the idea was once to select presets (program changes) from that window.

Perhaps because you used to click on Show instead of Program?
Furthermore, if you have previously saved a Kontakt instrument configuration in a Patch, it will be playable when the Patch is loaded without opening any window.
