Logic Pro 11 crashing or producing bad sound with MG3

This might be due to the MG3 beta not ok’ed as a plug in, but for other short comings of Logic Pro 11 I’m about to give up on it and completely redo my recording set up, which will be a lot of work.

I tried different latency settings ( 128, 256, 512, 1024) still getting unclean crackling while playing or recording.
Which DAW would work best or do I need a more powerful MAC (2017 2.3 GHZ Dual Core/Intel Core i5, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB solid state disk)?`

Yes, so for some workloads, you need to have it multithreaded. Unfortunately I forgot to make this option available in the plugin version. Got it on the TODO list.

But there is a temporary workaround: I assume you use the MINI patch. If you add an FX or synth somewhere in a chain, it will automatically start multithreading.

Is that inside of Logic as plug in or as stand alone?
