“Lost the connection to the audio Unit v2 plug-in”

I’m getting this message after using the Midi Guitar and Midi Bass plugins.
It occurs randomly after a few minutes in the use of the plugin.
Then it crashes the whole ableton project and it’s very frustrated.
I would like to know how to solve this issue, Thank You.

try use the vst plugin. That is also recommend because the vst delivers the midi over the normal channels inside Live , whereas the au has to use a virtual midi port.

ok, I tried to use the vst plugin but for some reason it does not appear on my vst plugins list.
I did install that exactly like written in the website, but it doesn’t show on ableton.
Any idea?
