Mg2 not recognising Behringer FCB1010

I may have a few solutions to your FBC1010 issues but need to know some specifics:

  1. Is your FCB1010 using the factory chip or do you have an aftermarket chip aka Eureka Prom3 or Uno?
If factory, I think you are going to find the FCB to be cumbersome and will not do the things you want easily. This is because the unit requires double entries to switch bypass. The Eureka or Uno chips change this to allow for 1 press on/off. I use the Eureka 2.0. There is a new version out here: https://www.eurekasound.com/eurekaprom

  2. I would also recommend getting a powered USB hub and a USB to Midi cable. This will allow you to plug the FCB directly into the computer or Powered USB hub. Your comp should see it in the device manager.

  3. With regards to BiasFX2 the unit is not actually shown in the Midi config, but it will be recognized and you can use midi learn by right clicking the effect and choosing the parameter you want to control.

I am very versed with the FBC and BiasFX / AT4 and I am using by FBC with Reaper and I have it set up to control individual bypass on each patch I use.

It may be I need to ‘help’ each individual with separate issues, but I believe the first step is to replace the factory chip with Eureka Prom3.
