I have first discovered MIDI Guitar now and it sounds very much like something for me ![]()
I have owned the Roland GR-1 since it came and have first recently started using iPhone and iPad to create music.
It sounds like MG3 is coming soon, so my budget tells me that I should not buy MG2 now but wait for MG3.
Is there a way where I can upgrade the MG2 to MG3 when MG3 comes, or buy MG3 now and start using MG2
your purchase of mg2 includes the upgrade to mg3 when it is released.
from the faq:
Yes, purchasing a license for a BETA product is purchasing a license for the final full version. Think of it as a preorder that you can already use today,

The reason I ask is that this FAQ is for Windows & Mac.
The places I have found in this forum do LoFiLeiF talk about the āfull versionā and mention that this version will get the upgrade for free, he writes that the iOS version is not the full version, so it is not clear to me that the iOS version with IAPs will get the free upgrade.
It would be wonderfull
. Midi Guitar looks like so much fun
iām sorry, it was right there in the title. hopefully someone who knows the deal will chime in shortly.
Iām in the same boat, been holding off on purchasing until I get news about version three. Hopefully we can get some clarification.
As for the Mac and Windows version, itās a lifetime license for all versions, so thatās safe to buy.
MG3 on iOS you canāt buy. But itās free to use for now, during the TestFlight phase. It hasnāt been available the last month, but new update just being submitted to Apple now (it may take some days to get approved).
Thanks. Do you know if long term if someone owns mg2 will they get mg3 when released?
On Mac and PC, yes all future updates are included.
On iOS, which is much lower priced, no. There will either be a new IAP, or a new MG3 app to buy.
Ok thanks for the information.
I am looking forward to the new app but will hold off on making any purchase until the details are available.
