MG3 (3.0.68) with SWAM Clarinet in Cubase 10.5 Pro, NI S88 Mk I, and Moog expression pedal

Hi.

I’m running Cubase 10.5 Pro on Windows 11 with a Native Instruments S88 Mk I keyboard and a Moog EP-3 expression pedal that works great with almost everything.

I’m using my licensed MG3 (3.0.68) with a SWAM Clarinet, but I can’t get the Clarinet to recognize the expression pedal when I’m in Cubase. I’m running MG3 as an insert and route it as the input for the clarinet. I have Komplete Kontrol - 1 routed to CC11 in MG3 and it recognizes pedal activity, but it doesn’t reach the clarinet.

I also tried this several days ago with Steinberg HALion Sonic, but couldn’t get that to recognize the pedal either. I’ve tried the suggestions from Google, but nothing has worked so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That means you are using the MIDI output module in MG3 and send MIDI to the instrument track that contains the clarinet, correct?
If so you must not route any CC command to MG3 but directly to the instrument track.
