MG3 Acoustic Guitar VST with No Latency Issues

Looking for an Acoustic VST that works well with MG3. I watched the video “Starting with Midi Guitar 3” (Excellent video) and it warned that some VST guitars due to how they are set up can cause latency. The acoustic guitars VSTs that I’ve looked at (the paid ones) don’t seem to have a trial period to test them. They run 100 to 150 dollars which I don’t mind paying for a good VST but, obviously, I don’t want to pay that if it won’t run in MG3 without too much latency issues.
Anyone else dealt with this? Any recommendations?
Thank you.

So did you check this out too?

And also, if you have some NI Kontakt Libraries (acoustic guitars) that you can’t get to work, I did this for the electric guitars but the way of going about things (setting up) is very much the same (as long as the instruments have a playable melody nki as well).

Thanks so much, man. Been watching your videos, subscribed yesterday. By far the best content on MG3, which I love. Going to Orange Tree Guitars to check out their line and see if I can get something that works.

I hate to bother you with anything else but, I’m looking to do rhythm acoustic guitar (Using my electric because of the better pickups) with various VSTs enhancing the sound. I’m having problems using MG3 for rhythm playing, (Awesome with lead playing) do you have a video out that would help to dial in some parameters to allow for rhythm guitar style playing?
Thank you once again.

Yeah, Orange Tree Samples are really great. If you are just looking for one Steel String I can’t recommend the Boutique Acoustic enough. It has some really precious sounds.

When it comes to rythm playing - if you are talking about strumming and raking chords, the MIDI Guitar HEX tracker is really the way to go. It does rely on you having a guitar with a hexaphonic pickup on it, and a means of sending this into your computer over USB (like a GP10 or a GM800). But the difference in the way you are able to “play guitar” in a more traditional way can’t be denied.

I have used the standard MG3 tracker for all my videos (up until now), and any chordal work and comping I do is absolutly working for me, but I have put in the hours to make that work for me. Just know that the option is there.
