MG3 and Fender studio Pro

I hope the solution is easy. So far, Fender hasn’t posted any tips, and I doubt they will. I haven’t found clear information yet here either. How do I record MG3 in Fender Studio Pro? It works as a stand-alone, but it will not record. Is there a straightforward answer? I’m really getting discouraged.

This forum cannot explain the basic functionality of all DAWs available on the market. I’m sure that recording audio and MIDI data from MG3 is relatively straightforward. Unfortunately, there’s no trial version of Fender Studio Pro available for download.

Typically, to record audio data, the MG3 VST plugin is inserted into an audio track. This audio track must have the guitar signal as its input. There may be monitor options that need to be selected accordingly.

To record MIDI data, an instrument track usually needs to be created in addition, and the MG3’s MIDI output signal is routed to it as an input. MG3 than needs to contain the MIDI output module found under “essentials”, or you select the “MIDI Guitar Mini” patch.

Can you tell us what exactly you want to achieve and maybe you can post some screenshots of your project.

I had to set up an MPE instrument. It works!!!
