MG3 Beta Install Questions

I have a few questions about the MG3 Beta Install, apologies if any of these questions are 1) really basic, or 2) repeated…I did consult the “similar threads” once prompted!

  1. Does one use the same license code purchased for MG2 when prompted?

  2. Does MG3 replace MG2? Or does an MG2 App still remain that one can return too? (I saw this question for IOs but not sure about how it workd for desktop.)

  3. Does MG3 need to rescan plug ins?

Thanks for any help you can provide. I’ve had MG2 for a couple days now and I’ve been playing more “guitar” these past 48 hours than I have in many years! ; )

To 1. Registration is different from MG2, just follow the on screen instructions

To 2. No, you can have both desktop versions installed

To 3. MG3 is rescanning your VSTs on initial startup
