MG3 iPadOS shows: "Your system or CPU can’t keep up causing bad tracking"

Despite having the latest software (18.32) and optimizing my iPad (7.Gen), I keep getting this error message. And with some synth apps like Moog Model 15 the tracking seems to be worse than with others. - Any tips or info on this problem?

The iPad 7 is too slow for the latest “expressive” tracking model. I guess if you switch over to polyphonic-no-bends it will run.

How can I switch over to polyphonic-no-bends?

I get the same message on an iMac Pro 2018 … still it looks to have no impact on the detector but I was wondering how to get rid of this… I may give it a try and let you know if this improves detection. Just a question though if I keep the bend function I guess Midi Guitar will automaticly transmit the bend information to the vst connected to it (depending of course on the vst capacity of doing pitch bends) or do I have to do some setting or link something to activate in order for the bend information to take function ?
And oh yes harps can do bends

… and I had the same on a Mac Studio M1 base model. Strange it didn’t happen in previous releases.

I am also seeing more overload errors in the past 2 betas (.61 and .62). I have a Mac Studio M1 Ultra with 128gb ram. Mostly happens if MG3 is in the background and not the focused app (I use MG3 as a standalone controller for my DAW work).

When you see that sign flashing it only means that MG missed an audio buffer. If it disappears again it’s no problem. But if its stays visible there is an issue with audio processing or too small buffers. I guess it’s a bit agressive in this reporting in the latest versions, and we need to tweak this a bit to not cause unnecessary concerns.

Thanks. I have observed that sound output is fluid and never interrupted even when the message appears. In any case the CPU reader stays on 2%-3% (Mac Studio M1 base model) and I can confirm hat also Mac OS CPU readings are low.
